What this is
MakerBox is a few hundred small tools that run entirely inside this tab. Nothing you open is uploaded. Whether you merge a PDF, convert a photo or decode a token, your browser reads the file, the work happens on your own device, and the result comes straight back to you. There is no account, no queue, and no server that keeps a copy.
That is also why the tools are quick. A big PDF does not have to travel anywhere before it can be compressed, so there is no upload to wait for; how long the work takes depends on the file and your device. Most of the tools even work with the network off.
One exception: a handful of tools load a large file once, the first time you use them, such as a font for writing Korean into a PDF or a model for removing a background. Those files come to you; your own file does not go out with them. Most come from this site; the few that come from another server are each named in the privacy policy. Beyond that, if a tool ever needs to send something somewhere, it says so on the page before it does.
