Make a QR code instantly
Encode a URL or any text, or use the built-in builders to make a Wi-Fi QR (network name, password, security) so guests can join by scanning, or a Contact QR (vCard) with name, phone and email. Six more builders cover Email, SMS, Phone, Location, PayPal and a SEPA (EPC) bank transfer with IBAN and BIC. Choose the error-correction level, any output size from 100 to 5000 px (the PNG snaps to whole QR modules, so it can come out a few pixels smaller), the shape of the body dots and of the three corner squares and the dot inside each of them — square, rounded or round — and flat or gradient colors, linear or radial — the linear one at eight rotations — for both the code and its background. The level, the size, the code and background colors and the shapes are remembered on this device until you press “Forget saved settings”. Frequently asked questions
Can I add a logo to the QR code?
Yes — drop an image into the Logo box and it is placed in the center over a clean punch-out, with the error correction raised to High automatically so the code still scans. Keep the logo small (a quarter of the code or less) and high-contrast, and test the scan.
Which kinds of QR code can I build?
Nine: Text/URL, Wi-Fi, Contact (vCard), Email, SMS, Phone, Location, PayPal and SEPA (EPC) bank transfer. Switch to the builder you want and fill the fields; the tool assembles the correct payload for you — WIFI:, vCard, mailto:, SMSTO:, tel:, geo: or the EPC block.
Can I change the colors or the shape of the dots?
Yes — pick a custom dark (foreground) and background color, and turn either one into a linear or radial gradient with a second color, and set a linear gradient to any of eight rotations. The body dots, the three corner squares and the dot inside each of them take their own shape too: square, rounded or round. Every end of every gradient is checked for 3:1 contrast against every background color, and a combination scanners could not read is refused. Square dots are what scanners are happiest with, so test the scan before printing a batch.
PNG or SVG?
PNG is a ready-to-use image; SVG is vector, so it scales to any size without blurring — ideal for print and large displays.
Can I save a design and use it again?
Yes — Save design writes how the code looks (error correction, size, colors, gradients, shapes, quiet zone, border, version, mode and how the logo sits) to a .json file, and Open design file… brings it back. What the code says — the link, a Wi-Fi password, a contact — is never written into it, and the logo image goes in only when you tick the box for it.
