Can I add a logo to the QR code?
Yes — drop an image into the Logo box and it is placed in the center over a clean punch-out, with the error correction raised to High automatically so the code still scans. Keep the logo small (a quarter of the code or less) and high-contrast, and test the scan.
Which kinds of QR code can I build?
Nine: Text/URL, Wi-Fi, Contact (vCard), Email, SMS, Phone, Location, PayPal and SEPA (EPC) bank transfer. Switch to the builder you want and fill the fields; the tool assembles the correct payload for you — WIFI:, vCard, mailto:, SMSTO:, tel:, geo: or the EPC block.
Can I change the colors or the shape of the dots?
Yes — pick a custom dark (foreground) and background color, and turn either one into a linear or radial gradient with a second color, and set a linear gradient to any of eight rotations. The body dots, the three corner squares and the dot inside each of them take their own shape too: square, rounded or round. Every end of every gradient is checked for 3:1 contrast against every background color, and a combination scanners could not read is refused. Square dots are what scanners are happiest with, so test the scan before printing a batch.
PNG or SVG?
PNG is a ready-to-use image; SVG is vector, so it scales to any size without blurring — ideal for print and large displays.
