Turn an EPUB ebook into a PDF
Drop in an .epub file and this tool unzips it, follows the book's spine to read every chapter in the right order, and lays the text out on clean A4 or US Letter pages as a downloadable PDF — handy for printing, annotating, or reading on a device that prefers PDF. Headings stay bold and larger than the body text, and the chapters flow one after another with automatic page breaks.
Text-faithful, and private by design
This extracts and reflows the text of the ebook rather than photographing its pages, so the words rewrap to the page and the file stays small. The cover and the pictures inside the chapters are carried across, and the book's own table of contents is written into the PDF as clickable bookmarks, so a reader's sidebar still works. What does not come across is the ebook's own design — custom fonts, colours and CSS layout are redrawn, the text reflows to the page size you pick, and lists and tables arrive as ordinary paragraphs. A Korean, Japanese or Chinese book comes out properly: the text is drawn with a real embedded font and stays selectable, and under Font you choose which one — twelve faces, from Korean sans, serif, monospace, handwriting and display styles to Noto Sans JP and Noto Sans SC, each listed with what it costs to download. Nanum Gothic is the default, the face is fetched only when the book needs it and then cached, and your choice is remembered. Any picture in a format your browser cannot decode is named on screen before you download, never dropped in silence. Everything runs locally with fflate and pdf-lib: your ebook is never uploaded to a server, and the tool keeps working offline once loaded. DRM-protected ebooks are encrypted and cannot be opened.
Frequently asked questions
Will the PDF look exactly like the ebook?
No. The text is extracted and reflowed onto standard pages, so it keeps your headings, chapter order, cover, pictures and table-of-contents bookmarks — but not the ebook's exact fonts or CSS layout. It is faithful to the content, not a pixel-perfect copy.
Does it work on DRM-protected books?
No. Ebooks sold with DRM (as many from commercial stores are) are encrypted and cannot be opened or converted. Only DRM-free EPUB files work.
Can I convert several books at once?
Yes. Drop as many EPUBs as you like and press Convert all: each book becomes its own PDF, named after the book, and they arrive together as one .zip. A book that cannot be opened is named for you and the rest still come through.
Is my ebook uploaded anywhere?
No. The EPUB is unzipped and rendered to PDF entirely in your browser with fflate and pdf-lib, so your file never leaves your device and the tool keeps working offline after the first load.
