Arrange first, cut second
Splitting sits on the Save screen, which means you can put the document in order before you cut it: reorder pages, drop the ones you do not want, rotate anything sideways, then say where to cut. Several files come down together as a zip.
Five ways to say where to cut
Point at it. A pair of scissors sits in every gap in the page list; click the ones you want and Save opens already knowing where to cut — two marks make three files. Every N pages cuts at a fixed interval, the shape you want when one long scan is really twenty separate documents. Ranges like "1-3, 5, 8" are read either way: one file holding all five pages, or — with "Save each range as its own file" ticked — three files, one per range. Odd and even splits the document into two files, pages 1, 3, 5… and 2, 4, 6…, which is how a stack scanned front-side first comes back apart. Choose nothing and the document saves whole. At the bookmarks takes the cuts from the document itself — one file per top-level bookmark, named after it, which is how a bookmarked book comes apart into its own chapters.

Every page is read, edited and written in your browser with pdf.js and pdf-lib. Your file never leaves your device, and the editor keeps working offline once it has loaded.
Frequently asked questions
How do I split the file?
Two ways. Click the scissors in the gaps between the pages on the left, then press Save… — it opens knowing where you marked. Or press Save…, tick "Save as separate files" and choose a new file every N pages, a range like "1-3, 5, 8", odd and even pages, or the bookmarks the document already has. If it produces more than one file they download together as a zip.
Can I take out a single page?
Yes — type its number under "Only some pages". For several separate pieces, write them as "1-3, 5, 8" and tick "Save each range as its own file". For every other page, "Odd and even pages" saves both halves at once.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The document is read and cut entirely in your browser with pdf-lib; nothing reaches a server.
