Pull the files hidden inside a PDF
A PDF can carry whole files inside it — a spreadsheet attached to a report, the source files behind a design, or the individual documents of a PDF portfolio or package. Most readers either tuck these attachments behind a small paperclip icon or cannot open them at all. Drop a PDF here and this tool reads its embedded-files name tree, lists every attachment with its name and size, and gives you a download button for each one. The bytes are decoded exactly as they were stored, so you get the original file back rather than a re-encoded copy.

Everything runs in your browser with the pdf-lib library, so your PDF is never uploaded to a server. The file — and whatever sensitive documents are tucked inside it — stays on your device. It works offline, and each download is the embedded file itself. When a PDF has no attachments the tool simply says so; it only reads embedded files and never changes the PDF.

Are the extracted files the originals?
Yes. The embedded bytes are decoded — undoing the internal compression the PDF applied — and handed back unchanged, so each downloaded file matches the file that was embedded, byte for byte.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
