Remove the annotations you choose

Drop in a PDF and this tool lists every annotation it found, grouped by kind — reviewer comments and sticky notes, yellow highlights, underlines and strikethroughs, freehand ink, shapes, stamps, text callouts, and the clickable link markup layered on top of the page — with how many there are, which pages they sit on, and a sample of what they say wherever they carry any text. Tick the kinds you want gone, check the before-and-after preview of the page, then download a clean copy; the tool tells you how many annotations were removed. Interactive form fields live in that same annotation layer, so they are listed too — but left alone unless you ask for them, because removing one deletes the field and anything typed into it. The underlying text, images and page layout are never touched.

Runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded

All processing happens locally with pdf-lib, so your PDF never leaves your device and is never sent to a server — safe for contracts, reports, and other confidential documents. The annotation objects themselves are deleted rather than merely unlinked from the page, and a comment's popup window goes when the comment does. Note that it removes the interactive annotation layer, not marks that were flattened into the page itself: a highlight stored as a real annotation is removed, but colour already burned into the page image is part of the page and stays. Redaction marks are the same story — removing the mark does not black anything out.
