Fill a PDF form without printing it
Drop in a PDF that has interactive form fields — an AcroForm — and this tool reads every field it contains and lays out a matching control for each one: a text box for text fields, a checkbox for checkboxes, and a dropdown for radio groups, dropdowns and list boxes, each pre-filled with the value already stored in the file. Type your answers, tick the boxes, choose from the lists, then download a new PDF with all of it filled in. Fields you leave alone keep their existing value, and names the file does not contain are simply ignored.
Flatten to lock it in
Turn on Flatten and the values are painted permanently into the page and the form fields are removed, so the result looks the same in every reader and can no longer be edited or cleared — ideal for a form you are about to send or archive. Leave it off to keep the fields live so you or the next person can keep editing. Everything runs in your browser with pdf-lib, so your document is never uploaded to a server and the tool keeps working offline. Note that it fills existing form fields; it does not draw new fields onto a flat PDF that has none.

What kinds of fields can it fill?

What does the Flatten option do?
Flattening bakes the filled-in values into the page and removes the form fields, so the values can no longer be changed and the document looks identical in every PDF reader. Leave it off to keep the fields editable. It is a good final step before sending or archiving a completed form.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The form is read and written entirely in your browser with pdf-lib, so your file never leaves your device and the tool works offline. This is safe for contracts, applications and other documents with personal details.
