Watermark your photos before you share them
Add a text watermark — your name, handle, studio or a copyright line — across one image or a whole batch at once. Choose any of nine positions, then set the size, color, opacity and rotation until the text sits exactly where you want it. The first image previews live as you adjust, so you see the result before you export. Press Enter in the text box for a second line, and each line is drawn centered on the mark. With Repeat across the whole picture ticked, Space between repeats sets how far apart the marks sit. Save these settings for next time keeps the text, logo, look, position and export settings in this browser, so the next visit opens on them — a logo too large to keep is left out, with a note — and Forget the saved settings drops them.

Frequently asked questions
Can I watermark many images at once?
Yes. Drop in as many images as you like and the same watermark is applied to every one — when you add more than one image the results download together as a single ZIP file.
Where can I place the watermark?
Pick any of nine anchor positions — the four corners, the four edge centers or the middle. Corner and edge positions are inset slightly from the frame, and you can also set the text size, color, opacity and rotation.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The watermark is drawn entirely in your browser using an HTML canvas, so your images are processed on your own device and never uploaded.
Can I change the typeface, add an outline, or control the exported files?
Yes. Pick a typeface with bold or italic, and add an outline, a shadow or a panel behind the text. On export you choose the format and quality, resize the images, and name the files with a pattern.
Can the watermark have two lines, space its repeats further apart, or be saved for next time?
Yes. Press Enter in the text box for a second line; each line is drawn centered on the mark, and past the most lines it draws the page says so. With Repeat across the whole picture ticked, Space between repeats sets the gap between the marks as a share of the mark’s own size. Save these settings for next time keeps the text, the position — dragged or chosen — the look, the tiling, the logo and the export settings in this browser, and the next visit opens on them; a logo too large to keep is left out, with a note. Forget the saved settings drops them.
Is a phone photo saved the right way up, and can its camera details be kept?
Yes. A JPEG that the camera marked as turned is watermarked and saved standing upright. Tick Keep the camera details and a JPEG saved as JPEG keeps its camera, date, author and copyright; the rotation flag is reset so it is not turned twice, the embedded preview picture is removed because it shows the photo without the mark, and the maker's private notes are cleared. Where the photo was taken is left out unless Also keep the GPS location is ticked as well, and that choice is never saved with the settings. Other formats are saved without any of these details.
